Timothy L. Faley
Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies

Timothy L. Faley is currently the managing director of the Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, the managing director of the Institute's venture capital fund, and Adjunct Professor of Corporate Strategy at the University of Michigan's Business School. He was the founding director of the University of Michigan's College of Engineering Office of Technology Transfer and Commercialization. He came to the University from The Dow Chemical Company, where he worked in research, new business development, and technology licensing. Michael Sharer
Technology Transfer and Commercialization, Western MIchigan University

Michael Sharer is currently the Director of Western Michigan University's Technology Transfer and Commercialization function. Previously, he had licensing, program management, and intellectual asset management responsibilities at The University of Michigan's College of Engineering Office of Technology Transfer from 2000 to 2005. Prior to his Michigan experience, he was a project manager at a business development/licensing consulting firm, where he was responsible for valuation of licensing opportunities, developing new business, and delivering final projects to major pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. I-Chiu Chang is an associate professor of MIS at National Chung Cheng University. She received her PhD from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research interests include Decision Support Systems, Healthcare Information Systems, and Electronic Medical Records. Her published works have appeared in Industrial Management & Data Systems, Medical Informatics and the Internet in Medicine, OMAGA, and Information Management & Computer Security. Edward T. Chen
Management Department, University of Massachusetts

Edward T. Chen is Associate Professor of Management Information Systems at University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dr. Chen has published articles in Information & Management, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Project Management, Journal of International Technology and Information Management, and other academic IS journals. Dr. Chen has presented his research work at many international conferences and published his papers in refereed proceedings. He has received the Irwin Distinguished Paper Award at the Southwestern Federation of Administrative Disciplines (SWFAD) conference. His recent research paper in the performance measurement of knowledge management systems won the Best Paper Award at the 2005 International Conference on Accounting and Information Technology. Ming-Shien Chiang

Ming-Shien Chiang is currently a student in the Department of Information Management, Vanung University, Taiwan. He has worked in the indoor design industry for more than 15 years as a designer and manager. His research interests include IS project management and IS resource management.

James J. Jiang
Department of Management Information Systems, University of Central Florida

Dr. James Jiang is a professor of Management Information Systems at the University of Central Florida. He is also the Jin-Ding Professor at the National Central University in Taiwan. Previously, he was a visiting professor at National Tshing-Hwa University, National Chung-Cheng University, National Taiwan University, and City University of Hong Kong. He obtained his master's degrees in Applied Mathematics, Computer Sciences, [End Page 193] and Management Sciences. His PhD in Information Systems was granted by the University of Cincinnati. His research interests include IS project management, IS human resources management, and IS service quality management. He has published over 100 academic articles in these areas in journals such as Decision Sciences, Decision Support Systems (DSS), JMIS, CACM, IEEE SMC, IEEE EM, IEEE PC, JAIS, EJIS, I&M, Data Base, Journal of Systems & Software, Computers in Human Behavior, and MIS Quarterly.
