Lorien Foote is an assistant professor of history at the University of Central Arkansas. She is the author of Seeking the One Great Remedy: Francis George Shaw and Nineteenth-Century Reform (2003).

Robert E. Bonner teaches at Michigan State University and is now working on a manuscript entitled “The Soldier’s Pen: Civil War Reflections from within the Lines.”
