CONTRIBUTORS TO THIS ISSUE Gregory J. W. Urwin is professor of history at the University of Central Arkansas and is the author of Custer victorious: The Civil War Battles of General George Armstrong Custer (1993). His sixth book, Facing Fearful Odds: The Seige of Wake Island, will be published in 1997. David E. Woodard is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota currently working on a dissertation concerning Duff Green and antebellum Southern foreign relations. William A. Tidwell is a retired intelligence officer with long experience in the CIA and military intelligence. His most recent book is April '65: Confederate Covert Action in the American Civil Hör (1995). ...
