CONTRIBUTORS TO THIS ISSUE Keith Wilson works in a post-graduate research program at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. Judith Lee Hallock is a part-time doctoral student at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and an elementary school teacher. George C. Rabie is assistant professor of history and Director of American Studies at Anderson College. His book But There Was No Peace: Violence and Reconstruction Politics will bepublished this year by the University of Georgia Press. John Barnwell is assistant professor of history at Vanderbilt University . He is currently editing the Plantation Diary of James Henry Hammond, 1831-1855. ...
