Abstract

This article turns to Peter Cameron’s queer protagonist in as an invitation to think about growth differently. It departs from the linear imperative to grow up to adult finality and proposes ways of moving continuously in various directions and wayward routes yet to be charted. Through the work of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, this article takes up Kathryn Bond Stockton’s plea for a new vocabulary of growth: moving rhizomatically.
