Call For Nominations

The 1977-78 nominations committee, selected at the ChLA membership meeting in March, will be chaired by Taimi Ranta (Illinois State).

Already nominated at the membership meeting were: Joan Bowen, David Greene, Dorrell Hanks, Ruth MacDonald, Dorothy Mills, Peter Neumeyer, Priscilla Ord, Elizabeth Segal, Betty Jane Wagner, and Virginia Wolf. The nominating committee will continue to accept nominations for the following positions: vice-president/president-elect, secretary, and three board members (three-year term). Please specify the office to which each person is nominated. Current board members may be nominated for the offices of vice-president and secretary. Each nomination must be accompanied by a vita of no more than one-third of a page, single-spaced typing. The vita will be reproduced on a candidate sheet to be sent to the membership to help them in their selection. Each nomination must also be accompanied by a statement of acceptance from the nominee. Any ChLA member may nominate any other member or her/ himself. Nominations should be sent to Prof. Taimi Ranta, English Department, Illinois State University, Normal, Ill. 61761 no later than October 15, 1977.
