LEAR, director Philip McKee’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Lear, is discussed as a feminist theatrical experience that is in/of the body. Employing alternative modes of representation that look at gender, affect, and audio, LEAR demonstrates what feminist innovation can be found in messing with form and looking at the body.
