EDITOR'S NOTE In this number ofBulletin ofthe Comediantes, we are happy to present articles on a broad variety oftopics and informed by diverse approaches. The contributors represent an international group of scholars, ranging from recent PhDs to distinguished professors emeriti. As always, we encourage comediantes from the U. S. and abroad to send us their work. Our next number, 58.1 (2006), will be a special issue on colonial Latin American theater, an area for which we invite future submissions.
