Timothy Dow Adams, Professor and Chair of English at West Virginia University, is the author of Light Writing and Life Writing: Photography in Autobiography (U of North Carolina P, 1999) and Telling Lies in Modern American Autobiography (U of North Carolina P, 1991).
David Amigoni is Professor of Victorian Literature at Keele University. He is the author of Victorian Biography (Harvester Wheatsheaf, 1993), and editor of the forthcoming Life Writing and Victorian Culture (Ashgate, 2006). In summer 2005 he takes over as editor of the Journal of Victorian Culture.
Peter Britos is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, and the former Director and Chief Academic Officer of the University's Academy for Creative Media
G. Thomas Couser is Professor of English and Director of Disability Studies at Hofstra University. His most recent books are Recovering Bodies: Illness, Disability, and Life Writing (U of Wisconsin P, 1997), and Vulnerable Subjects: Ethics and Life Writing (Cornell UP, 2004). He is currently engaged in a study of narratives of filiation (i.e., memoirs of fathers) written in North America in the last twenty-five years.
Rocío G. Davis is Associate Professor of American and Postcolonial Literatures at the University of Navarre. Her publications include Transcultural Reinventions: Asian American and Asian Canadian Short Story Cycles (TSAR, 2001), and Sites of Ethnicity: Europe and the Americas, coedited with William Boelhower and Carmen Birkle (Carl Winter, 2004). She is currently working on a book on Asian American autobiographies of childhood.
Marysa Demoor, Professor of English at the University of Ghent, specializes in Victorian fin-de-siècle literature, women writers, and periodicals, and is currently exploring the influence of gender on the perception and evaluation of madness in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Her recent publications include the collection, Marketing the Author: Author Personae, Narrative Selves, and Self-Fashioning, 1880-1930 (Palgrave Macmillan, 2004).

Valerie L. Garver is Assistant Professor of Medieval History at Northern Illinois University.
Karen Kaivola is Professor of English and Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Stetson University, where she teaches courses in twentieth-century literature, gender studies, humanities, and literary theory. She has published on various twentieth-century women writers, including Virginia Woolf, Djuna Barnes, Marguerite Duras, and Marilynne Robinson.
Jeraldine R. Kraver is Associate Professor of English and Director of English Education at the University of Northern Colorado.
Duane A. Rudolph is Assistant Professor of French at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. He specializes in the literature of the French Renaissance.
