Abstract

The Hearing Impaired Program of Township High School District 214, Mt. Prospect, Illinois, provides comprehensive computer services to students and staff. This program not only uses computers for computer-assisted instruction but also provides computer programming instruction, vocational experience for students, and administrative systems for supervisors and staff.

Teachers, using software from many sources, give students a variety of high-quality instruction with computers. The lab and the adjoining classroom allow teachers additional flexibility m meeting instructional needs while helping students attain maximum benefit from the computers.
