A SELECTED BIBLIOGRAPHY OF FEMINIST LITERARY THEORY, 1975-1986 Barbara A. White This bibliography includes some items from 1987, but I have been able to search the literature only through 1986. I have tried to keep the focus on theory and have thus omitted works, however significant, that I consider primarily examples of practical criticism; of course, this distinction is not always easy, and there is plenty of room for disagreement. I want to thank Wendy Frost, Michele Valiquette, and Susan Metcalf for their help in locating materials. I. Bibliographies See also extensive bibliographies in IV.6 and IV. 15. 1. Fairbanks, Carol.
