BIBLIOGRAPHICAL NOTE In this note we do not attempt to cite all possible sources that would be relevant to a thorough study of Seferis's poetry, a purpose better served (for works before 1962) by G. K. Katsimbalis' Βιβλιογραφία Γιώργου Χεφέρη (Athens 1961), which also appeared in ΤιΛ τον Σεφέρη (see below). We offer here only a list of the first Greek editions of the various volumes that constitute Seferis's collected poems, his own principal prose works and translations, and, in addition, the most important works devoted to his poetry in English, Greek, and other languages.
