The Conference of Latin-Americanist Geographers is a specialized group of the Association of American Geographers fué founded on 1970 and at the moment it counts with more than 250 members around the world. The CLAG fué organized to foment the education and the geographic investigation on Latin America; in order to fulfill this objective, CLAG organizes national and international conferences that include diverse subjects that reflect the different interests from their members. It publishes in addition, a Bulletin and a Yearbook. It also invites to social scientists of disciplines related to the CLAG subjects to participate in the Conferences and Publications.
