Maps xiii Map 1 British Prisoners of War Relatives’Association A map of the Far East in the Thesis showed only the location of Hong Kong relative to China and Japan. This map, showing many of the other internee and P.O.W. camps in the Far East, is much more interesting. It is reproduced here by kind permission of Jonathan Wattis of Wattis Fine Arts.
