15COMMERCIAL/RESIDENTIAL ZONES GENERAL BACKGROUN D Within the 'Commercial/Residential' (C/R ) zones, residential an d commercia l uses suc h a s retai l shops , restaurants an d office s ar e permitte d a s o f right . The planning intentio n o f this zon e is to allo w flexibility fo r redevelopmen t into eithe r commercia l o r residentia l uses , o r a combinatio n o f commercia l and residential uses.
