Snakes, suc h a s the Ra t snak e (Ptyas mucosus) an d Cobra (Naja naja) ar e see n regularl y an d on e nigh t a Burmese python (Python molurus bivittatus) crossed the road near to Hong Kong Telecom . Hillside rats and unidentified cive t cats occur around the Residenc e o f th e Swir e Institut e o f Marin e Scienc e and, once, a Chinese leopard cat (Eelis bengalensis) visited the building .
