TheInstituteofSoutheastAsianStudies(ISEAS)wasestablishedasanautonomous organizationin1968.Itisaregionalcentrededicatedtothestudyofsocio-political, securityandeconomictrendsanddevelopmentsinSoutheastAsiaanditswider geostrategicandeconomicenvironment.TheInstitute’sresearchprogrammesarethe RegionalEconomicStudies(RES,includingASEANandAPEC),RegionalStrategic andPoliticalStudies(RSPS),andRegionalSocialandCulturalStudies(RSCS). ISEASPublishing,anestablishedacademicpress,hasissuedalmost2,000books andjournals.ItisthelargestscholarlypublisherofresearchaboutSoutheastAsiafrom withintheregion.ISEASPublishingworkswithmanyotheracademicandtrade publishersanddistributorstodisseminateimportantresearchandanalysesfromand aboutSoutheastAsiatotherestoftheworld.
