About the Author William Greenway, a native of Georgia with a B.A. from Georgia State University and a Ph.D. from Tulane University, is professor of English at Youngstown State University. He has published four full-length collections of poetry, most recently Simmer Dim in the Akron Series in Poetry. For the same series, Greenway co-edited with Elton Glaser I Have My Own Song For It: Modern Poems of Ohio. He was 1994 Georgia Author of the Year and has won the Ohioana Poetry Award, the Larry Levis Editors’ Prize from Missouri Review, the Open Voice Poetry Award from The Writer’s Voice, the State Street Press Chapbook Competition, and an Ohio Arts Council Fellowship.
