This is a list of the films shown at the Volta between December 1909 and mid-April 1910. The titles are taken from advertisements and articles in the Dublin papers Dublin Evening Mail, Evening Telegraph, Freeman’s Journal and Daily Commercial Advertiser and Sinn Féin (weekly edition). Each date is that of a newly advertised Volta programme, citing the source of the original advertisement. The original titles are the probable, possible or certain titles of the films as advertised in catalogues of the period, with country, date and production company (p.c.), plus director (d.) where known. Titles in parentheses are English titles where the original has not been traced. British reviews in the trade paper The Bioscope are given, plus the review title in parentheses if different from that given above. For those titles which are extant, the archive or archives holding a copy is given. The filmography only goes to mid-April, when the decision was first made to sell the business. Any influence that James Joyce may have had over the running of the cinema was over by this point. However, advertisements with programme details continued until June in Sinn Féin. In that month the business was sold to Provincial Cinematograph Theatres.
