Probable date of the “Epistle to M. Bordes.” 1741–42 Probable date of “Enigma.” 1742 April 19: Date of “Memorandum to Monsignor Boudet.” July 10: Completion of the “Letter to M. Publication of “Queen Whimsical” without Rousseau’s permission. 1762 Possible date of the composition of the “Letters to Sara.” June 9: The Parlement of Paris condemns Emile and a warrant is issued for Rousseau’s arrest.
