143 Teen Wears Pet Bird Like a Hat When 16-year old twins Erin and Tammy Wallace go shopping together; they’re not hard to tell apart. Erin is the one with the bird on her head. Sunday, a brightly feathered sun conure, likes to perch atop Erin’s ponytail, clutching a wad of brown hair in one claw, while using her hair elastic to balance himself with the other claw. Sunday holds tight— on long walks on the beach, bike rides, even when Erin does back flips. When Sunday is not riding high, he perches on Erin’s shoulder.
