This book is dedicated to the people of the Middle East and their heroic struggle for freedom and democracy, and to the memory of Neda Agha-Soltan, a 26-year-old Iranian student who on June 20th, 2009, while attending a demonstration in Tehran protesting the vote-count fraud in the reelection of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, was shot in the heart by a member of the government’s paramilitary organization, the Basij.
