The Texas Atlas Project in the Department of Geography at Texas State University–San Marcos created the Texas Water Atlas. We thank Kristine Egan, atlas production manager, and the production staff composed of John McLaughlin, Rachel Benke, and Jeff Sun for their excellent work in gathering pertinent data and drafting the atlas maps. Kristine Egan also provided some of the photographs for the atlas. We appreciate the Department of Geography and the River Systems Institute at Texas State University–San Marcos for funding components of the production of the Texas Water Atlas. We are grateful to Andrew Sansom, executive director of the River Systems Institute, and Angelika Wahl, office manager for the Texas State Geography Department, for their steadfast encouragement as we worked for many months to produce the atlas.
