The faces are baffled and alarmed to see the ocean of accented voices which swelled from the suburbs of Maryland and Virginia through the subterranean labyrinths to rise in the heart of the capital city. They march past the office buildings of the government that can not see them that considers them a menace and urban legend. When they reach the national mall a smile appears on every face as if they have arrived to the knowledge of who they are and where they are standing.
