List of Helmut Kallmann’s Writings A list of HK’s writings from 1949 up to June 1987 is available in Musical Canada: Words and Music Honouring Helmut Kallmann, ed. John Beckwith and Frederick A. Dawn Keer, “Helmut Kallmann: An Account of His Contributions to Music Librarianship and Scholarship in Canada” (MLIS thesis, University of Alberta, 1991), 128–40, provides a somewhat more extensive list of HK’s published writings from 1947 to the fall of 1990. The chronological list given below includes all of HK’s published writings until his death. Entries below marked with an asterisk (*) are published in this book.
