Appendix Short Biographies of the Major Theater Writers, Directors, Actors, and Organizers Fred Wibowo Actor, writer, and director. Joined Arena Teater under the leadership of Yasso Winarto in 1964. Became leader of the group in 1969 when Winarto left for Jakarta. Studied communications, radio, television and film at Saint Gabriel’s College, Hatch End, London. Beginning in 1971, he became manager of Studio Audio-Visual PUSKAT, Yogyakarta . He directed and helped produce numerous educational videos while managing PUSKAT.
