311 Authors Pascal Courty is a research fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research . In 2009 he joined the University of Victoria from the European University Institute, where he was a professor of economics. He was previously associate professor at the London Business School, and assistant professor at University Pompeu Fabra. He has taught at the University of Chicago GSB, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and the Hong Kong School of Business . He received a PhD from the University of Chicago. Professor Courty has contributed to the fields of industrial organization, labor economics, personnel economics, and law and economics. His work is applied, and he has contributed to questions related to congestion pricing, resale markets for tickets, pop concert pricing, the design of incentives in government organizations, gaming in performance measurement systems, and the sorting of physicians in medical specialties. James J. Heckman is the Henry Schultz Distinguished Service Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago, where he has served since 1973. Heckman directs the Economics Research Center and the Center for Social Program Evaluation at the Harris School for Public Policy. Heinrich is the Director of the La Follette School of Public Affairs , Professor of Public Affairs and Affiliated Professor of Economics, and a Regina Loughlin Scholar at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She earned a PhD at the University of Chicago in 1995. In August 2011, she will assume the Sid Richardson Chair in Public Affairs and the Directorship of the Center for Health and Social Policy at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
