About the Author Edwin Torres is a poet and performer born in New York City. He is author of several poetry collections, including Yes Thing, No Thing (Roof Books, 2010), In the Function of External Circumstances (Nightboat Books, 2010), and The PoPedology of an Ambient Language (Atelos Books, 2008). His poetry appears in several notable anthologies, including Post Modern American Poetry (Norton, 2013), The Best American Poetry, 2004 (Scribner, 2005), and ALOUD: Voices from The Nuyorican Poets Café (Holt, 1994).
