About the Editors Chip Colwell-Chanthaphonh is curator of anthropology at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS). He received his PhD from Indiana University and his BA from the University of Arizona. Before coming to the DMNS, he held a post-doctoral fellowship with the American Academy of Arts & Sciences in Cambridge, Massachusetts . He has published more than three dozen articles and book chapters, and has authored and edited eight books. He is a recipient of the 2009 National Council on Public History Book Award. Stephen E. Nash is curator of archaeology and chair of the Department of Anthropology at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS). He received his PhD and MA from the University of Arizona and his BA from Grinnell College. Before coming to DMNS, he spent nine years at the Field Museum in Chicago, where he served as head of collections in anthropology and as a post-doctoral research specialist. He has published more than two dozen articles and book chapters, and has authored and edited five books on subjects ranging from the history of archaeological tree-ring dating to museum collections. ...
