I would like you to take this camera out with you for a few days and take pictures with it. There are a few things that I want you take pictures of, but the rest is up to you. Please take: • 5 pictures inside the Boys and Girls Club. These could be kids or staff who you like, your favorite places in the club, and/or activities that you enjoy or that are important to you. • 1 picture of an adult who you are close to. • 1 picture of a friend who you are close to. • 1 picture of something that represents what you would like to be in the future. • 1 picture of something that represents what you do not want to be in the future. • 1 picture of a place that is important to you (outside the Boys and Girls Club). 222 ❙ Appendix D • 1 picture of something you enjoy doing. • 1 picture of a group of people who are important to you. • 1 picture of somewhere you like to spend time alone. You can take pictures of more than one of each of these things if you want. Please use the rest of the pictures to show anything else that is important (people, places, activities, objects, anything that you think helps tell the story of you and your life). Try to take photographs in all different places, over a number of days. Please don’t use up all your photos in one place, at one time, or on one thing just because you are having fun. I want to see all of the different things that are important to you! Think of this as a picture story that shows who you are.
