In these tables, the American Human Development Index scores have been rounded to two decimal places. The resulting values may therefore appear to be tied in several instances. The rankings reflect the original values that result from calculation of the Index, not the rounded values. When the total population of any group was less than 50,000 people, the HD Index was not calculated for that group due to the statistical instability of survey-based estimates for small populations.
