>> 247 About the Contributors Neal M. Ashkanasy is Professor in the UQ Business School at the University of Queensland, where he received his PhD in social/organizational psychology . His research is in leadership, organizational culture, ethics, and emotions in organizations. He has published in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Leadership Quarterly, and Journal of Management. He serves on several editorial boards including the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Journal of Management, and is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Organizational Behavior, associate editor of the Academy of Management Review and Emotion Review, and series coeditor of Research on Emotion in Organizations . Ashkanasy is a fellow of the Academy for the Social Sciences in Australia (ASSA); the Association for Psychological Science (APS); the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP); and the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM), where he also served as president. Chet E. Barney is a doctoral student in the Department of Management at New Mexico State University. His primary research interests include deviant workplace behavior, job insecurity, and core self-evaluations. Philip G. Benson is the Bank of America Professor in the management department at New Mexico State University where he teaches primarily in the areas of human resource management and international management. His PhD was awarded by Colorado State University in 1982, in the area of industrial/organizational psychology. Russell Cropanzano is a professor of organizational behavior at the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business. Dr. Cropanzano’s primary research areas include perceptions of organizational justice, as well as, the experience and impact of workplace emotion. He has edited four books, presented over seventy papers and published over one hundred scholarly articles and 248 > 249 intervention; measuring stress in entrepreneurs; personality and work; and personality, health, and well being. Ricky W. Griffin is Distinguished Professor of Management in Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and holds the Blocker Chair in Business there. His research on task design and dysfunctional work behavior has appeared in Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Management and other outlets, and he served as editor of the Journal of Management. Ricky has been program chair and division chair of the Organizational Behavior Division and program chair of the Research Methods Division of the of the Southwest Academy of Management, and program chair and president of the academy, and a member of the board of the Southern Management Association. He is a fellow of both the Academy of Management and the Southern Management Association. He is the author of several widely used textbooks and his current research interests include workplace culture, managerial skills development , and decision making during times of crisis. Michael A. Gross is an associate professor in the Department of Management at Colorado State University. He earned his PhD at Arizona State University. His current research interests focus on conflict with managing experience design, trust and trust repair, conflict and verbal aggression, and personality and abusive supervision. He has published in a variety of journals including Decision Sciences, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Management Inquiry, International Journal of Conflict Management, Management Communication Quarterly, Journal of Applied Communication Research, and Journal of Management Education. He teaches negotiation and conflict management at the undergraduate level and in the graduate and executive programs as well as courses in organizational behavior and human resource management. Brandon Hill Haines is a partner at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) in Albuquerque , NM. Upon completion of his degree in accounting with a minor in economics, he began his career in public accounting in the audit department of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company (now KPMG). His professional career has included serving as vice president in charge of the internal audit function for a multibank holding company as well as serving as chairman of the audit committee of a financial institution for more than fifteen years. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New Mexico and also a Certified Fraud Examiner. He currently serves on the Business Advisory Council for New Mexico State University as well as the Accounting Advisory 250 > 251 employees.
