ACILIUS SEVERUS THE SENATOR cilius severus, of spanish origin, and from the well-known family of Severus to whom Lactantius directed two books of letters, wrote compositions in prose and verse, a sort of ÔOdoiporikovn, an itinerary,1 a work containing the whole course of his life which he called Katastrofhvn or Pei'ran.2 He died in the reign of the emperor Valentinianus.3 notes 1.
