COMPREHENSIVE BIBLIOGRAPHY ON INTERPERSONAL FORGIVENESS Robert D. Enright This bibliography represents my imperfect attempt to amass the writings on interpersonal forgiveness that have been published or that have appeared as doctoral dissertations. I focused primarily on those works that make forgiveness the central theme, although when a work gives some thought to the topic, I tried to include it as well. Those works emphasizing person-to-person forgiveness are the primary focus. I inadvertently may have eliminated some works that center on divine-tohuman forgiveness and then discuss person-to-person forgiveness as a secondary issue. I most certainly missed some large works in which interpersonal forgiveness is given a small place. Not appearing here are early works (prior to 1980) that discuss such tangential (to our purposes) themes as trust and guilt. Most works in languages other than English are not here, but I hope that those with a facility in other languages will furnish bibliographies in the future. Papers presented at conferences also do not appear here. My apologies in advance to those scholars whose works I omitted because of my own need to delve further into the topic.
