The reconstruction diagrams of Parma’s Piazza del Duomo and Piazza Garibaldi are based on a 2005 laser-assisted survey of the sites conducted by architects Michela Rossi (formerly professor of architectural drawing and historical documentation at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile, dell’Ambiente, del Territorio, e di Architettura of the Università degli Studi di Parma and currently professor in the Department of Industrial Design, Art, Communication , and Fashion of the Politecnico di Milano) and Cecilia Tedeschi (currently an instructor in architectural design at the Università degli Studi di Parma). About the Reconstruction Diagrams Gray lines represent the city’s current state. Black lines represent hypothetical medieval building lines, based on my research findings.
