Lloyd E. Bone Jr. is currently in his second year as visiting assistant professor of music at Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia, and news editor for the ITEA Journal. Bone has also taught at the University of Cincinnati College—Conservatory of Music, Murray State University in Murray , Kentucky, and the Schilling School for Gifted Children in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has performed at competitions and has toured with such groups as Mr. Jack Daniel’s Original Silver Cornet Band and the Circus Kingdom Band. Bone earned his bachelor of music education degree at Tennessee Technological University and his master’s of music from the University of Cincinnati College—Conservatory of Music. Eric Paull is an adjunct professor of music at Austin Peay State University and an active professional musician who frequently tours with Mr. Jack Daniel’s Original Silver Cornet Band. He has been involved in numerous musical projects that range from the recording studio to radio and broadcast television. Paull received his degrees from Louisiana State University and Tennessee Technological University and has studied with Larry Campbell, Winston Morris, and Daniel Perantoni. Assistant Editors Brian L. Bowman enjoys a distinguished career as a soloist, clinician, recording artist, educator, and administrator. Currently professor of music (euphonium) in the College of Music at the University of North Texas, Bowman has also served on the music faculty of eight other universities. He is the author of Practical Hints for Playing the Euphonium/Baritone Horn and frequently publishes articles in professional journals. His edition of the Arban Complete Method is the only complete bass clef edition of this famous brass method. In 1989, Bowman was awarded the British Magazine’s Euphonium Player of the Year and in 1995 he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award from TUBA. Neal Corwell was featured euphonium soloist during the 1980s with The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own,” in Washington, D.C., and in 2002 he rejoined that prestigious military organization. Adam Frey earned a bachelor of music magna cum laude with high honors in euphonium and tuba performance at the University of Georgia and a master of music with distinction and a professional performance diploma with distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. He teaches as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University and as an artist affiliate at Emory University, serves as artistic director of the International Euphonium Institute , and runs the euphonium specialist publishing company Euphonium.com. Frey has performed with various ensembles and has an extensive and diverse recording catalog. Contributors Marc Dickman is associate professor of music at the University of North Florida. He was hired by Rich Matteson in 1986. Dickman earned degrees from Troy State University, McNeese State University , and the University of North Texas.
