Appendix To James Upton Tripp [Wyke, 12 September 1787] Sir, Mr Turner has informed me that Lord Egremont has directed 50 Gs to be paid for the Horse which his Lordship had upon trial, and that you wish to know who is to receive the Money. I trouble you therefore with this to request the favour of you to pay it to Mr Collins1 whose receipt on my behalf will be suf¤cient, he having very kindly undertaken the trouble of dividing it as far as it will go, among Mr Smiths creditors. I cannot conclude without thanking you for having been so obliging as to interest yourself in the disposal of the Horse. And I am, Sir, your obt & obligd humble Sert Charlotte Smith Wyke.
