40 Mudflats The green bear was staked out at the mudflats. It was roseate . It was a kind of chalet. It was the great divide. His bear-sense told him it was crucial for him to meet the chandler. Where was the chandler? Lost in the necropolis. Where was the necropolis? In the substation of cities. A hundred others reached out of the rodeo, and signed up for the trepidation. This was the green bear’s crusade. It was no sleepwalk of the imagination, no covetousness of the reprieve; nor any— wide-eyed—enlightenment.
