Abstract:
Turnover among student affairs professionals is a critical concern for the profession. Therefore, in this cross-sectional correlational research investigation we explored student affairs professionals' (N = 789) levels of job stress and burnout in relationship to their job satisfaction and turnover intentions. Higher level of job stress and burnout were associated with greater job dissatisfaction and increased turnover intentions. We discuss implications for student affairs professionals along with future research directions.
