Intermezzo: Is There a Canadian Musical Theatre?

CTR asked several musical theatre writers the following question: "Musical theatre is, in its origins, an American idiom. As a Canadian working in this idiom, do you think there's something unique about a Canadian musical, and is there anything that differentiates a Canadian musical or musical theatre writer from an American musical or musical theatre writer?"
