Abstract
In 1987 Rudolf Dreikurs was asked by this journal to write an article called, “Are Psychological Schools of Thought Outdated?” This article, and issue, is an update of his work. Adlerian psychology is alive and well, and its assumptions as relevant today as ever. This article will examine the assumptions in light of current theory and research.
