The commitment of rain falling from sky. And the clouds muscling by, pearl, as the sea commits to its mutability, and when rain strikes the earth, commitment, as one commits to breathe. Clouds never asked for vapor, nor rain to fall. And the clouds speed across. Rain upon my coat. Unasked, I’m born to walk among all the other believers in grass, burrows, water’s dart and flash.
