  • Message from the New Editor
  • Jack Lyons

This note is to bid farewell to Edward Minar as editor of this journal and thank him for his years of service. Ed took over the journal in 2003 and has worked tirelessly since then to maintain the high standards of quality established by his predecessor, Christopher Hill (who, incidentally, returns now as one of the co-editors of the current issue). On a more personal note, I want to thank Ed for all his work in training and advising me to do his old job and for his indispensable help in ushering through the last few issues prior to this one. Thanks of course are also due to all the guest editors and authors who have contributed their time and energy to the journal throughout this period.

I want to also say that I’m very excited about this and future issues of the journal. We have upcoming issues featuring some excellent guest editors, on topics of epistemology, philosophy of language, and the moral status of belief. I’m proud to be part of this journal and hope to keep up the great work of my predecessors.
