In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

  • Errata for 15(2)

JLAG went to press before an error in the authorship could be rectified. The first article in 15(2) should be cited as Laue, J. and Arima, E. 2016. What Drives Downsizing of Protected Areas? A Case Study of Amazon National Park. Journal of Latin American Geography 15(2): 7-32. This was corrected on-line immediately and we extend our apologies to the authors.

We were unable to include acknowledgements in a timely fashion for Sertzen, P. & Torres, R. 2016. Dibujando el “otro lado”: Mexican Children´s Perceptions of Migration to the United States. Journal of Latin American Geography 15(2): 55-78. These acknowledgements should read:

We are grateful to all the children who shared their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with us through workshops and interviews. Azalia Hernández, Alicia Torres Geary, and Alana Nelson provided critical assistance with organizing and facilitating workshops. Jeff Popke, a collaborator on the larger project, contributed intellectual and moral support during challenging fieldwork. We thank Lindsey Carte, R. Tina Catania, Solange Muñoz, and Jessie Speer for reviewing early drafts and giving helpful feedback. We are also appreciative of the two anonymous reviewers and Christopher Gaffney for their comments, which helped to strengthen and clarify our argument. This research was made possible due to generous support from the National Science Foundation Geography and Spatial Sciences Program (Award #0547725/#1005927) and Graduate Research Fellowship Program (Award #DGE-1247399), The University of Texas at Austin Harrington Faculty Fellows Program and Graduate School Diversity Mentoring Fellowship, and the College of Liberal Arts (COLA).
