- Editors’ Introduction
Essays in this volume explore women’s political leadership and activism in the United States, Haiti, and Nigeria, as well as a biblical allegory that addresses black freedom. In addition to book reviews, this volume also introduces a new section in the form of a bibliographical compilation focusing on transnational African American studies. A bibliography representing the explosion of work in this field will be included in future volumes at least once a year. [End Page 105]
