The Hamilton Prize

victorian review invites submissions for the Hamilton Prize for the best graduate student paper in the field of Victorian studies.

Papers should be 20–25 pages in length and should not have been previously published. The winner will receive an award of can $250 and publication of the essay in Victorian Review. The annual deadline for submissions is 30 June.

The winning essay will be selected according to three criteria:

1. 1). contribution to Victorian studies;

2. 2). quality and originality; and

3. 3). style and clarity.

The award will be judged by the editorial team of the journal in consultation with advisory board members.
