Abstract

Suhrawardī (d. 1191) has been hailed as a crucial thinker in the history of Islamic philosophy. However, his actual influence remains an open question. To provide a measure for his influence, I present a list of all known commentaries on his works. I found 58 commentaries in total, of which at least 31 are extant, from all centuries and all corners of the Islamic world.
