Peter Krüger

PETER KRÜGER is an independent writer/director and producer and a member of the General Assembly and the Advisory Body of the Flemish Filmfund. His first creative documentary was Nazareth (1997), which looked at faith in villages bearing the same name in Israel, Ghana, and Flanders. Since then he has written and directed several documentaries, including Poets of Mongolia, Roberte’s Dance, L’Eclipse of Sint-Gilles, and short fiction called The Strange Man. In Antwerp Central, he explored the limits of fiction, and this film—a meditation on the cultural, historical, and symbolic life of Antwerp’s Central Station—won Grand Prize at the International Festival of Films on Art in Montreal. Between 2005 and 2013 he made N: The Madness of Reason (www.nthefilm.com) which was released at the Berlinale (Forum) in 2014 and won the Ensor-awards 2015 for best Flemish film, best music, and best editing.
