The lengthy, dynamic, danced confrontation between Young Man (Gary Wynn) and Guardian of the Well (Sandra Kovacs) after her transformation into a hawk. The Chorus included Jeff Erickson, Christopher Garey, Mark Lien, Glenn E. Schmitt, and William Z. Petropoulos. At the Hawk’s Well, the 1984 Asian/Experimental Theater production directed by Phillip Zarrilli on A. C. Scott’s stage.
