All night, I am rowing the jawbone of a draft animal over swells and troughs of the mountain. The bleached bone gleams with absorbed fluorescence, leads me to a split where the mountain opens to profound darkness. My fingers lengthen to the talons of initiates. Not a matter     of will if form holds on the verge of liquid     or air boundaries blurred as in sex between pain     pleasure my   body    incandescent. Gravity holds it to earth like a lover.
